Today, numerous tools incorporate AI technology, such as the commonly used image background removal tools. Years ago, these tools already featured automatic recognition of foreground and background elements, converting them into transparent backgrounds. I previously compiled a list titled “Online Background Removal Tools: 37 Free Online Tools Recommended with Tutorials” featuring relevant services and tools. This list continues to be updated and expanded. Removal results may vary slightly between tools, so it's advisable to test and compare several services.

This article introduces “Removerized,” a free AI background removal tool that leverages AI technology to swiftly eliminate image backgrounds—completely free! It imposes no usage restrictions and operates offline, delivering fast, accurate results with an extremely simple interface. Supporting PNG, JPG, and WebP formats, it automatically processes images upon drag-and-drop, converting them to transparent backgrounds in seconds.

Removerized is an open-source project. While it offers an automatic background removal mode, it does not provide manual editing features. It may not be 100% suitable for all image types. Those interested can try it out for themselves.

User Guide

STEP 1

After entering the Removerized website, click “Click to upload” at the top to select the image you want to remove the background from, or simply drag and drop the image file into the upload field (supports PNG, JPG, or WebP formats). Then click “Process” to begin the background removal.

STEP 2

The first time you use it, a prompt to download the AI model will appear. Please wait for a moment.

STEP 3

Once complete, an animation will show the image with its background removed. Use the slider in the middle of the website to compare the before and after versions of the image.

Click the “Download” button below to download and save the image with its background removed and replaced with a transparent background.
